A few weekends back my mom and I got crafty and each made one of these potting benches using old pallets. Talk about an up-cycle!! With the help of my dad (who completely deconstructed the pallets for us) and these directions, we were able to build our own cute little garden stands. And by little I mean not little at all. They measure up almost 5 feet!
So here is the low down, this was so much easier to make than it looks, you’re going to want to make one this weekend. Go to your local hardware store and ask them if they have any extra pallets…they do, and they’ll give them to you. FO FREE!!

I added a hanging boxed herb garden, a potted succulent/plumeria and a watering can as well as some extra pots for future plants. I must say I’ve been enjoying the outdoor working space and am already thinking up ways for this stand to do some double-duty during garden parties!!
