SAMSUNG CSCroe+may Top //Palazzo Pants (sold out, similar) // Loeffler Randall Bag // Tassel Necklaces DIY

When I first saw these tribal print palazzo pants I was immediately reminded of Mara Hoffman’s vibrant and fun tribal patterns. But…these bad boys are a FRACTION of a fraction of the price! Not only are they beyond comfortable but I love the palazzo style and find that they make for the perfect combination of chic and comfortable. Lets be honest, its like wearing sweats!! Styled with this amazing lace off the shoulder top from new designers roe+may (I’m obsessed with everything they make!!), and a couple of my favorite colorful DIY tassel necklaces.
I can’t wait to style this top with my favorite cut-off’s and gladiator sandals!!
Have a great day!

DIY Tassel Bracelets

SAMSUNG CSCTassels are this spring’s hottest trend and they are making a huge fashion statement.  From tassel trim on tops to tassel ties on shoes, there are so many fun ways to incorporate this trend into you spring wardrobe. One of my favorites…colorful beaded tassel bracelets and necklaces. I shared a picture of a few of a few of the tassel bracelets and necklaces I made and received a ton of request for a how-to post, so here ya go! It couldn’t be easier and the color combos are endless, I’ve been really into the pink/turquoise combo and find that it is really easy to style. One of the best parts about making your own tassel bracelets is that the color combo is totally customizable!

Here is what you need:SAMSUNG CSC

– Scissors
– Small jewelry pliers
– Small wire cutter
– ruler
– 1mm elastic thread
– 26 gauge gold wire
– 4mm gold jump rings
– gold crimp tubes
– embroidery thread
– assorted beads (I think that the 10mm-12mm size works best)

SAMSUNG CSCStep: 1
– Cut 1 1/2 feet of embroidery thread and fold in fourths. String a jump ring to the middle of the thread.
Step 2:
– Loosely wrap the remainder of the tread around your 4 fingers, cut across the bottom. It should look like the picture above.

SAMSUNG CSCStep 3:
– Tie the thread with the jump ring around your bundle of thread, make sure it’s centered! Hold the jump ring so the thread falls downward. Cut a piece of gold wire.
SAMSUNG CSCStep 4:
– Wrap the gold wire around the thread (about 1/4 of an inch down from the jump ring). You will want to wrap the wire about 7 times. Twist wire to hold in place and trim of excess.  Trim the thread so it’s all the same length. You can keep your tassel on the long side (perfect for necklaces) or a little shorter (great for bracelets).
SAMSUNG CSCStep 5:
– String your beads onto the elastic string from both sides. Create a pattern using different colored beads or use all the same! Once your bracelet or necklace is the desired size bring the two ends of the elastic together and string on two more beads.
Step 6:
– String 1 crimp bead through both sides of elastic then string the tassel.
SAMSUNG CSCStep 7:
– String the ends of the elastic around the tassel and back through the crimp bead. You might need pull tight on the elastic a bit to get the other ends through but they will fit! Pull tight and use a small plier to crimp the bead. Trim excess elastic.
SAMSUNG CSCTah-dah!! Totally customizable, chic tassel bracelets that look adorable alone or layered with other colors! If you have any questions let me know in the comments below!

Peoples Project LA Dress c/o // Necklace DIY ( post coming soon!) // Oliver Peoples Sunglasses

Afternoon beach walks with Marc and Penelope have become one of my favorite things to do since moving to Hawaii. Penelope absolutely LOVES the beach and has a blast running though the water and picking up all of the sticks and my husband and I have so much fun watching her play.  I usually throw on a cute cover-up to head to the beach and this cold shoulder style from Peoples Project LA is the absolute cutest. I love the loose fit and the drop waist makes it perfect for breezy afternoons. It’s super versatile and could be styled with an oversized hat and gladiator sandals for Coachella or with white skinny jeans for date night.
PS- I’m obsessed with tassel necklaces…I just made this one and I’ll be sharing a how- to post later this week!
I hope you had a great weekend and a wonderful Easter!

Easter Tablescape Inspiration

Traditionally we spend Easter with my family and usually enjoy an afternoon at my Aunt and Uncles Laguna Beach home, eating great food and drinking even better wine. This year is the first that we won’t get to spend the holiday with my family but it will give my husband and I a chance to start a new tradition. We don’t have much planned but even if we spend the day at the beach and finish it off with an extra special dinner and a bottle of wine I’ll be a happy little bunny. Andddd, just because it will only be the two of us this year doesn’t mean I can’t create a festive tablescape for the occasion.  I’m thinking something along the line of a simple place setting, white and green florals lining the table and tea lights scattered throughout. Here are a few place settings I’m loving…

Joie Tank Top (similar) // Lace Skirt (similar) // Panama Hat // Loeffler Randall Bag // Prada Sunglasses // Zara Shoes (identical and under $35)

Nothing goes with an all white outfit quite like a tan and since moving to Hawaii I have found myself reaching for/ wearing a lot more white on white outfits. I recently wore this outfit (swapping out the hat and heels for gladiator sandals and a denim jacket ) to grab drinks with a few friends and loved how the white tank and skirt complimented my tan, I decided to wear it again over the weekend! This skirt is so versatile, the neutral color and flattering length make it the perfect piece to re-work into outfits and I’m already planning on wearing it with a black silky top and black heels for an upcoming date night. How cute would it be as a swim cover-up for a casual weekend at the beach or pool?! The options are endless…
