I have been a long time fan of the classic combination of ginger beer, vodka and lime…aka The Moscow Mule and have recently begun experimenting with swapping out the vodka with other liquors, for a different take on the classic mule. By simply swapping the vodka for tequila the mule is taken to another level of deliciousness and is equally as tasty if not better than the classic mule. Yep, I said it. It’s better than a Moscow Mule but thats coming from someone who has a deep love for tequila and margaritas and really all things Mexican, so giving the mule a mexican twist was a natural next step for me. Here is how you make it…
Mexican Mule:
Ingredients:
– 2 ounces tequila
– ginger beer
– lime
Directions:
– Fill a glass (or a copper mug if you have one!) with ice. Pour in the tequila and top with ginger beer and a squeeze of lime. Stir and enjoy!!
It’s so so simple yet so delicious!
