Here she is! All bare and empty but loaded with the potential for a cozy little beach cottage! I rushed to get a few pictures taken before our movers showed up so I could share the before and after transformation with you guys. If you’ve been reading here the past couple of weeks you’ll now know that my husband and I just moved to Hawaii and spent the last three weeks staying in a hotel and looking for a new home that fit all our wants and needs. We stumbled upon this little gem and instantly knew it was the one. The house is located it the quaint little beach town of Kailua, on the east side of Oahu and is situated a couple blocks from the beach and center of town. We are still working on unpacking and arranging everything but are really excited with the space and location.
This view is from the far corner of the living room looking towards the entry and breakfast nook, which then leads to the kitchen.
The future dining room as seen from the living room.
Large master bedroom with tons of natural light!

The layout of this house is pretty quirkly (one of the things I love about it) and the master bedroom doesn’t have an attached bathroom. The master bath is attached to one of the smaller rooms which will become my office / closet (I’m pretty excited about this!!) which will be a totally DIY project!
I didn’t get a chance to take pictures of the guest room, kitchen or guest bathroom but I have a few projects in mind for each of the rooms so I’ll make sure to share the finial results with you guys.
If you have any great decorating tips or tricks please share!
