Apple Spice Rummy

November 24, 2015 |

_DSC8811

Happy Thanksgiving week! Can you believe it’s already here? It definitely snuck up on me this year but to celebrate I’m mixing up a delicious, fall inspired cocktail! Brimming with flavors of ginger and apple this Apple Spice Rummy is the ideal way to get the turkey day festivities going.
Spicy and sweet ginger is the perfect compliment to its apple counterpart in this rum cocktail which is unbelievably smooth and oh-so delicious.

I’ve partnered with Oahu photographer Caitlin Schlabach to create and capture this refreshing (and really beautiful) cocktail! Simply combine 2 ounces of rum with equal parts apple cider, ginger beer and ginger simple syrup in a rocks glass and top with a squeeze of lime and a slice of apple and ginger. Bottoms up!
