10 Minute DIY Personalized Stationary

I’m a sucker for stationary and while I love perusing the isles at my local paper shop, admiring all of the beautiful cards, personalized stationary and letterheads what I really love is making it myself. Nothing gets me more motivated to send a letter than an adorable card, sitting inside an even more adorable lined envelope. 

Today’s busy girl hack is all about the easiest 10 minute DIY personalized stationary, including custom lined envelopes (my weakness) that you can absolutely, 100% customize to your color, pattern, etc preference. Here is what you’ll need:
– Plain Greeting Cards + Envelopes: I opted for bright white
– Alphabet Stamps
– Pineapple Stamp (or another shape you like)
– Patterned paper to line the envelopes- I always use wrapping paper
– Stamp Pad: I used Gold
– Bakers Twine

One of the things that I think makes custom stationary so special is the personalized touches you can add. Using a patterned paper to line your envelopes not only gives them a luxe look but is a really nice addition to what you stamp on front of the envelope. Paper Source sells a really great envelope liner template but you can easily make on to fit the envelopes you are using. Trim the adhesive off of the fold, cut down both sides of the envelope and cut across the bottom. This will leave you with the exact size of the liner that you’ll need for your envelope! Then, just simply trace the liner on the back side of the paper, cut, place inside the envelope and tape down.
Note: Make sure you fold the envelope with the liner in it, open and use two pieces of double sided tape, to adhere the liner to the envelope, just at the top! No need to tape at the bottom of the envelope, that just get tricky!

Once you have the envelope done, have fun with the stamps! I couldn’t resist this adorable pineapple stamp and let it be the focal while using a few little alphabet stamps in my initials below.
These personalized note cards have also become one of my go-to gifts and my friends love it when they open it up and see their initials on the cards!

This gold and white bakers twine adds the perfect finishing touch to the gold and white stationary. I like to tie a little bow around the card before sealing it in the envelope, giving it one last personalized touch!
