Thanksgiving is easily my favorite holiday and for as long as I can remember, I’ve loved every aspect of the day. From helping my parents prep the meal, to setting up the table and spending time with our family and close friends, it’s always been the holiday that I look most forward to. Plus, Thanksgiving dinner is quite possibly the best meal of the year!
With turkey day being just one week away I’ve had the big meal on the forefront of my mind. In the spirt of the holiday I’ve teamed up with Harvest Snaps to give you two insanely delicious (and easy!!) Thanksgiving appetizer ideas.
Something that we always have on our Thanksgiving appetizer menu…soup! This pumpkin soup is ideal to whip up on the big day for a couple reasons; you can make it in under 30 minutes and it’s full of so many amazing fall flavors. Instead of topping it with croutons, try adding a few Harvest Snaps! I topped these individual soup shooters with a black pepper crisp which added another really delicious layer of flavor that perfectly complimented the the soup as well as adding a delighful little crunch!
These chicken caesar salad bites topped with Caesar Snapea Crisps are great to offer as a pre-dinner nibble. Simply shred up a chicken breast or use chunk chicken breast, mix in your favorite caesar dressing, a handful of green onions and pomegranate seeds and spoon onto endive leaves. Roughly chop up a handful of caesar Harvest Snaps and sprinkle over the top. The addition of the Harvest Snaps add so much crunch and flavor to these chicken caesar salad bites- your guests won’t be able to have just one!!
And of course, Harvest Snaps are delicious to munch on alone so place a few bowls full of your favorite flavors around your appetizer table or next to the bar for your guests to enjoy!
- - 1 large chicken breast, cooked and shredded or 2 cans chunk chicken breast
- - 1 handful Caesar Harvest Snaps, roughly chopped
- - 2 green onions, roughly chopped
- - 3 tablespoons caesar dressing
- - 2 tablespoons pomegranate seeds
- - endive leaves
- - salt and pepper to taste
- In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, caesar dressing, green onions and pomegranate seeds. Season to taste and add more dressing if needed.
- Spoon a small amount onto an endive leaf and top with Caesar Harvest Snaps
- Serve immediately
