While pregnant with Miles I spent countless hours researching and reading review after review to find the best baby products and one of the products that would pop up in my search, over and over again was the Owlet Baby Monitor. It was on the top of my baby wish list so when Owlet reached out and asked if I would be interested in trying out their re-designed smart sock, the Owlet Smart Sock 2, I couldn’t say yes fast enough!
If you’re not familiar with Owlet, it’s a product that uses pulse oximetry technology, the same technology used in doctor’s offices, to track your baby’s heart rate and oxygen levels and is designed to notify you if your baby’s heart rate or oxygen levels fall out of the preset zones. The monitor is worn as a sock and what is so great about the smart sock 2 is that the new design offers a more secure fit that can be worn on either the left or right foot.
Now that Miles is here having the Owlet Baby Monitor gives Marc and I so much peace of mind and allows us to rest and relax knowing that if his oxygen levels or heart rate fall below the reset zone, it’s designed to notify us through the Base Station and our smart phones. Or, if we want to check on his levels we can simply open up the Owlet app and get real time readings for both his heart rate and oxygen levels…it’s really pretty cool! For the past two months Miles has been sleeping in our room but as we get ready to transition him into his nursery I know that the Owlet Smart Sock 2 will be that extra piece that will make the transition so much easier and give us that extra sense of security.
The Owlet Baby Monitor makes a great baby shower gift as it’s an absolute must have for Moms and Dads!
