33 weeks down and only 7 more to go! I know I keep saying this but I can not believe how quickly this pregnancy has gone. I can only hope these next 7 weeks will go just as quick because Marc and I are beyond anxious to meet our little guy! We’ll be flying to San Diego next week for a week full of celebrations starting with my baby shower, Christmas with my family and the wedding of two of my closest friends. This will be our last trip before baby and the week we fly back is actually the last week I’m able to fly, which we totally lucked out on since we bought our flights before I was pregnant! We’re looking forward to one last trip and spending time with friends and family before our little family of two becomes a family of three.
33 Week Bumpdate:
How Far Along: 33 weeks and things are really starting to get real! Baby is the size of a large pineapple and weighs over 4 pounds!
Gender: BOY! See the gender reveal here.
Pregnancy Symptoms: I’m starting to experience that first trimester acid reflux again but nothing so bad that a few tums throughout the day can’t fix. Last bumpdate I mentioned that I was experience some lower back pain. I picked up this belly support band and what a world of difference! If you’re pregnant I highly recommend getting one!
Sleeping: Really well and still managing to get 8 or more hours each night…getting all my sleep in while I still can!
Milestones: Baby M is a total wiggle worm…it seems like he is constantly moving; day and night, I can’t get enough of feeling him move and kick. He’s been getting the hiccups too which is both adorable and fun to feel! We’ve also finished his nursery (give or take a few things we’re still waiting on) and have his stroller and car seat ready to go!
Exercise: I’ve been keeping up with tabata and kickboxing workouts (I’m obsessed with the Daily Burn app– so many good workouts!) during the work week and on the weekends Penelope and I go for long beach walks but at a slower pace than in weeks before.
Cravings/ Aversions: In the first trimester I went though a phase where I couldn’t stand the taste or smell of bananas, it only lasted about two weeks but it’s back! I don’t mind them mixed into smoothies but I haven’t been able to eat one alone in weeks! So weird because I used to eat a banana a day!
Nursery: I’ll be sharing a full Nursery tour sometime soon but in the meantime you can get a look at my inspiration for his nursery here: Vintage Americana nursery
Feeling: So excited and starting to get a little nervous about the labor and delivery. I just have literally no idea what to expect which has me a bit on edge. Hoping that some upcoming labor classes and a tour of our hospitals labor and delivery wing help calm my nerves!
